Unbeaten in their last five, the LA Galaxy travel to Sporting KC looking to keep their good run of form going after a 5-2 win over Real Salt Lake last weekend.
While momentum is on their side, history is not. The LA Galaxy last won a game at Kansas City in 2007. Since, the Kansas City outfit has had a new stadium and a sporting rebrand in MLS.
Of course, confidence is high in Bruce Arena's squad, and they are no strangers to spoiling the house party this season, defeating the Houston Dynamo 4-1 at BBVA Compass Stadium.
On the injury front, Steven Gerrard picked up a knock in training, but the bad news may stop there as this is expected to be the last game the Galaxy are without captain Robbie Keane.
Although history has to be put in the context of the match, Sporting KC arrive to this game winless in their last four games. A positive result away from home isn't impossible here, and the Galaxy will be thinking along much the same lines.
