Eight LA Galaxy players have been named to the MLS All-Star Game's Fan XI ballot, which can be voted upon here, or on various social media sites (Twitter, Facebook, Instagram). The MLS All-Star Game will take place on July 29th at Dick's Sporting Goods Park against EPL side Tottenham Hotspur.

The Galaxy players named to the ballot are goalkeeper Jaime Penedo, defenders A.J. DeLaGarza, Omar Gonzalez, and Robbie Rogers, midfielders Stefan Ishizaki and Juninho, and forwards Robbie Keane and Gyasi Zardes.

Interestingly enough, leading scorer and stoppage time life-saver Alan Gordon was not included.

Robbie Keane's seven week injury woes and Gyasi Zardes' rough start to the season weren't enough to keep them off the ballot for the Galaxy, and their star power might be enough to get them onto the final roster.

The eight LA Galaxy players are among 160 players from around the league as selected by members of the media. At the conclusion of the voting process, one goalkeeper, three defenders, four midfielders, and three forwards with the highest amount of votes will be named to the Fan XI.

The ol' 3-4-3.

One of those forward slots will be occupied by a forward on the ballot with whom the most goals are scored on EA SPORTS FIFA 15 between now and July 3rd. One goal equals one vote, so fire up your console, because an All-Star slot is on the line.

To vote for a player on social media, include the hashtag #MLSALLSTAR and the player's first and last name or their twitter or instagram handle.
