There is not one better thing than an outdoor viewing party for an important sporting event, and with the 2014 FIFA World Cup set to kick off in Brazil the LA Galaxy have announced an official outdoor viewing party to watch the United States take on Ghana and an exclusive view party as the US take on Portugal.
The first major event will take place on the Hermosa Beach pier. Fans can gather there on Monday June 16th for the 3:00pm kickoff of USA v Ghana. The event is free to the public.
There will also be an exclusive viewing for USA vs. Portugal at Lot 613 in downtown Los Angeles. The party will last from one to six, and fans wanting more information can go to http://joinordie.lagalaxy.com. Tickets will go on sale June 12th at 11am.
El Torito has also joined the fun as the official watch party destination of matches not involving the US. There is a planned viewing party for Brazil vs. Mexico at Universal City Walk, but details were not included in the official release.
