LA Galaxy trot out a newish lineup to face Real Salt Lake in the second leg of the Western Conference Semifinal matchup. Leonardo starts at center back with Omar Gonzalez, while A.J. DeLaGarza slides over to replace Dan Gargan. Stefan Ishizaki also starts as the right midfielder over Baggio Husidic, a lineup going for pace trying to get an opener before Real Salt Lake manages an away goal.
A win pushes the Galaxy through, while Salt Lake would hold the tiebreaker in any draw save another 0-0 outing. The drive for five requires victory, and Real Salt Lake are the only MLS team to defeat the Galaxy at the StubHub! Center during the regular season.
Update:
Gargan took a knock in training earlier this week. He said that he was feeling already when asked but Arena going with the cautious choice.
