LA Galaxy reschedule DC United to accomodate CONCACAF Champions League

The LA Galaxy announced today that their March match against DC United has been moved to August 27th. The match was sandwiched on a Saturday between the two legs of the CONCACAF Champions Series with Tijuana, and has been moved so the club can concentrate on that series.

Moving the match to August does make that month incredibly impacted for the Galaxy with two Wednesday kickoffs at the end of the month for a total of seven matches in August. Advancing against Tijuana could result in more re-scheduling, but not participating in the 2014-15 Champions League takes off some of that pressure.
