A.J. DeLaGarza Out With Left Knee Sprain

The MLS Injury Report has been updated, and unsurprisingly A.J. DeLaGarza is now listed as out along with Leonardo and Kyle Nakazawa. The injury is still being called a left knee sprain, and DeLaGarza told Scott French at LAGalaxy.com yesterday at the Time Warner Cable Sportsnet kickoff that his goal is to be back for the playoffs.

In the interview, DeLaGarza reveals that he won't need surgery which results in the optimistic recovery time of one month. Galaxy communications officials have not yet revealed the official word from the team medical staff. Omar Gonzalez also echoed the one month expectation for recovery.

The rest of the injury report is without change from Friday, despite David Beckham playing also ninety minutes in Colorado. He still is listed as questionable with a left ankle sprain. Christian Wilhelmsson is also still listed as questionable, but will likely be available if he practices with the team this week.
