The United States national team camps are starting to shape up, with Jack McBean and Jose Villarreal of the LA Galaxy now named to the U-20 camp in Florida. So far this winter, Omar Gonzalez and A.J. DeLaGarza have been named to the US senior team camp that will be held at the Home Depot Center, and Michael Stephens has been named to the U-23 camp also being held in Florida. The two Galaxy prospects will join a 36 man roster in Fort Lauderdale, Fl; the first call-up for McBean and the second for Villarreal.

The U.S. U-18 team is also training in Florida this month, and three players from the LA Galaxy U-16 team will be at that camp. Midfielder Willie Raygoza, forwards Justin Dhillon and Jaime Villarreal were all included on the squad which began practice on Monday. The Galaxy also have an U-18 forward in Germany, Mario Rodriguez who was chosen as part of an 18 man squad to represent the US in the U-19 Stuttgart Cup, a 6 a side indoor tourney.

All of these are great signs both for the Galaxy's ability to find players in the draft (Gonzalez, DeLaGarza, Stephens) and to develop and find talent in the academies (McBean, Villarreal). All the DPs MLS rules will allow can't replace the vital role these players have in making this team a success now and in the future.
