USMNT vs. Mexico Open Thread

Perhaps the most superfulously interesting thing about tonight's match about Mexico is that the US will be wearing shirts without names on the back, and with the traditional 1-11 numbering. Reserves will wear 12-18. I for one love it. College Football is full of stories of coaches doing similar things to uniforms before a big match to get people focused.

The idea, of course, is that it's telling the players they are less important than the team. And hey, it's the reason why wearing 10 is such an honor. Hopefully Landon Donovan will be in that first striker spot on the roster.

Rosters will be announced an hour before kickoff, but until then, feel free to use this thread to get the worries out. Or talk about how confident you are about this match.

United States Mexico

DEF Bocanegra DEF Moreno
DEF Castillo DEF Salcido

That's a 4-2-3-1 for the USMNT, used often by Spanish and French sides. Jones and Beckerman are defensive midfielders, with Donovan, Bradley and Torres attacking.
