The Women's World Cup is about an hour away, and after the sadfest that was the Real Madrid friendly, I'm sure Galaxy fans are looking for something to cleanse their pallet.

Kick-off time: 11:45 am pst (8:45 pm local time)

Pregame hype machine begins: 11:00 am

TV: ESPN

Location: Frankfurt, Germany

Who to watch if you haven't been watching: Abby Wambach. Wambach was frustrated through most of the group stages, and at times tried too hard, but she's been the heroine of the knockout stage. She has a nose for being in the right place at the right time on a cross, and has the equalizer and winning goal to her credit for the last two matches against Brazil and France.

Projected Lineup: Wambach will likely be joined up top by Amy Rodriguez, but look for Alex Morgan to come off the bench in the second half to give the team a spark if it's still close (and it likely will be). The rest will be Hope Solo in goal; Krieger, Rampone, Buehler, LePeilbet, O'Reilly, Boxx, Lloyd, Cheney.

Projected finish: Japan has never beaten Uncle Sam's Angels. Today's not the day they start
