Bruce Arena spoke with the local media after the 2011 MLS Re-Entry Draft, and it's clear the 2012 LA Galaxy roster is starting to take shape. The Galaxy have to have things together early, with the Champions League match against Toronto FC before the regular season begins. The breaking news today, was that Arena confirmed the signing of Marcelo Sarvas from L.D. Alajuelense. The Brazilian earned the 10 jersey, and was instrumental in Alajuelense winning the 2011 Verano Championship that put them in the Champions League.
It's relevant that he's Brazilian, and from Sao Paolo, because the Galaxy are trying to resign Juninho. Bruce Arena confirmed that a offer has been made. An offer has also been made to Sean Franklin. Arena said that talks have been ongoing with their agents for three to four months now, that the Galaxy haven't been blindsided by contract negotiations. It'll be up to their respective agents and their clients to decide if they want to remain with the LA Galaxy.
Same goes for David Beckham. While reports have been all but guaranteeing he'll play for PSG in the coming year, he does have an offer on the table from the Galaxy who want to keep him in LA. For all three players, it's all up to where they want to go next with their careers.
We also learned that Adam Cristman is still on the Galaxy roster. The rest of the Re-Entry draft dealings will all have to negotiate a new contract over the next week. The Galaxy have seven days to give each of them a genuine offer. So let's take a look at the roster again. Those in limbo have question marks.

Non-roster players the Galaxy have the rights to negotiate with: Andrew Boyens, Chris Leitch, Pat Noonan, Jon Conway, Dasan Robinson, Frankie Hejduk
Keep in mind, the three open spots are Donovan Ricketts traded away, Gregg Berhalter retiring, and Jovan Kirovski making no decision. To that end, congrats to Gregg Berhalter, who was named head coach of Hammarby of the Swedish Superttan; that's Sweden's second division. Hopefully Berhalter can get them promoted up.
Bruce Arena also mentioned that the Galaxy could be signing a few Academy Players in the next few weeks, plus there is the SuperDraft in the next year. I haven't posted the reserve roster, but the senior roster has to settle before those spots are relevant.
