The Galaxy have dispelled a lot of myths this season. The myth that an MLS team can't be deep enough to survive both Champions League and the MLS playoffs. Sure that one involved a lot of luck, but dispelling this next one didn't. The Home Depot Center was loud last night. Sure, a fully enclosed older English style stadium like Sporting Kansas City has built for themselves might have a better match atmosphere, and the Galaxy having split Supporters' groups sometimes makes things cacophonic rather than symphonic. Real Salt Lake coach Jason Kreis isn’t ready to place his team’s rivalry with the LA Galaxy on the same level of the Colorado Rapids or even the Galaxy and Chivas USA, which call the Home Depot Center the home field. RSL and Rapids games are typically nasty, bruising with plenty of extracurricular activity off the ball — and on it, to be honest. "The games between [RSL and LA] have always been respectfully played," Kreis said.
