A special midday Carson Daily. Kayla's excellent article led us off this morning, and now a bit of reflection. I was at the Home Depot Center all morning, for Galaxy practice then Houston practice. Nothing groundbreaking to report. David Beckham was not at practice, but Bruce Arena said he expects him to practice tomorrow and play Sunday. When asked if it was a hamstring a not a cold, Arena simply said "he'll play Sunday".
Brad Davis was in his warmups at the Houston practice, but didn't even leave open the door that he could play Sunday. He sounded more like he was trying to decide between sitting on the bench or in the stands than he did playing or not playing. Chris Wondolowski was at the HDC, accepting the Castol Index Player of the Year award.
Then we all marched up to the Stadium Club to hear the TV deal announcement, and then watch Dwayne DeRosario accept his MVP award. It's been a full day. Now, let's see what the papers have been saying about the LA Galaxy while I was out:
