Hey campers. Here's an open thread to talk about whatever may be on your mind this glorious Saturday morning. If you're like me, you set your alarm radio to BBC 5 so you could be woken up by Charlton Athletic hosting Tranmere Rovers because Charlton Athletic has a ground seating 27,000, like the HDC, and you wanted to see how loud it sounded.

There will be a separate thread for the USMNT match. This thread will be open for discussing the match and results between the New England Revolution and San Jose Earthquakes.

Just kidding, the only MLS match that matters tonight is Seattle Sounders FC over the Philadelphia Union. So feel free to use this thread for any Shield related developments.

There really isn't much else happening tomorrow, soccer-wise. College football fans get to enjoy the Red River Shootout. NHL is playing some hockey games in Europe.

Hey remember when Saturday morning meant cartoons, and then Hey Dude and Salute Your Shorts in the afternoon? Those were the days.
