EA Sports has released the demo for 2014 FIFA World Cup Brazil for XBox 360 Live Gold members and Playstation 3 stores. The demo will be available to XBox Live Silver members on April 8th. The link to download the demo is here (http://www.easports.com/2014-fifa-world-cup/custom/demo).
The demo allows for quick matches involving the following playable teams: Mexico, United States, Brazil, England, Japan, Ivory Coast, Australia, and New Zealand. Estadio de Maracana, which will host the final in the real tournament, is the only playable stadium.
We only get the back of Donovan's head in this screen shot, but that's a pretty good Dempsey face. Tim Howard's beard is also recreated in all its, well I was told if I can't say anything nice to not say anything at all. The rendering of the new home kit falls in line with what we already know; it pretty much looks like a white polo shirt unless you're close up enough to see the subtle stripes.
Is it me, or does Chicharito look terrified? Anyhow, it'll be fun to play a few Mexico vs. USA classics while waiting for the full game to be released on April 15th.
