If you've been reading the weekly Fantasy League article lately, and judging by the page views, you have, you should be ready.
Luckily for owners, organizing your roster this week isn't nearly as difficult as pondering the Pandora's Box of choices from last week. Basically, you need to do just enough to field a starting eleven while preparing for Week 16, when four teams have double duty.
Below is the schedule for this week.
Philadelphia Union v Columbus Crew
New England Revolution v D.C. United
Chicago Fire v Portland Timbers
Real Salt Lake v Los Angeles Galaxy
Seattle Sounders FC v Vancouver Whitecaps
Two teams, the Portland Timbers and Vancouver Whitecaps, play twice next week.
Even with Ryan Johnson, Rodney Wallace, Donovan Ricketts and Futty Danso all away on international duty, there are plenty of quality choices on the Timbers roster. Will Johnson ($8.7) is a consistent point scorer who will play 90 minutes every game. Diego Valeri ($7.7) is a special talent, and in my opinion, still undervalued for his price. I'm less sold on Darlington Nagbe ($7.8), who tends to play very streaky, but if he gets hot, watch out. If you need a cheap defender, Michael Harrington ($5.0) is a solid bet.
Unfortunately, as I mentioned last week, the Vancouver Whitecaps are less enticing. Camilo ($7.7) is a decent educated pick. If Kenny Miller ($7.8) can manage to stay on the field, he's another gamble that could potentially pay off.
If you're not sold on the Vancouver squad and want to score maximum points, this week, check out the Revolution roster. In case you didn't notice over the weekend, or the past month, the Revs are for real. I've said it twice and I'll say it again, Jose Gonclaves ($6.5) is an absolute must pick. Diego Fagundez ($6.3) had a sensational performance on national television, but more importantly, has also scored in four straight games. Buy him before his price explodes.
Good luck everyone!
