Fellow Soccer Fans!

My name is Kyle Weiss and I love soccer as much as you do! I actually spend most of my free time raising money and building soccer fields for kids in the developing world. I started my organization FUNDaFIELD.org in 2007 when I was 13 and my brother Garrett was 15. Since that time we have built 8 soccer fields in Kenya, South Africa and Uganda. Our next soccer fields are slated for DR Congo, Swaziland and Haiti. Does FUNDaFIELD sound familiar to you? You might have seen us at the Nickelodeon Halo Awards 2011 where David Beckham chose us to receive the award. Yes, he is the coolest guy ever!

My good friend, Ryan Potter (you know him as Mike Fukanaga, the star of Nickelodeon's Supah Ninjas) also spends his free time helping kids through his organization, Toy Box of Hope. Ryan works to eradicate youth homelessness right here in Los Angeles where the need is great.

Ryan and I understand the importance of play and together we created CHANCE TO PLAY 2012, a celebrity soccer game to be held at USC on Sunday, August 5th. A fun day with celebrities from your favorite shows and the opportunity for your very own team (team defined as soccer team, family team, school team...) to warm up and hang out with the celebrity team! Yes, it's true, your team can be on the field warming up and chilling with movie stars!

It's easy! The team that fundraises the most money for FUNDaFIELD and Toy Box of Hope will be on the field leading stretching with the celebrities! Are you up for the challenge?
