Good Morning Galaxy fans! The big news yesterday wasn't about the LA Galaxy, it was about their upcoming opponent the Portland Timbers. The Galaxy face the Timbers on Sunday June 17th after this two weekend break for international play. The Timbers yesterday picked up Danny Mwanga from the Philadelphia Union, who continue to trade away key pieces of their team. Mwanga played his college soccer at Oregon State, then was drafted by the Union in 2010, so this is a bit of a homecoming for him. He'll be available for selection against the Galaxy on June 17th, the second time the Galaxy will face a player just traded from Philadelphia this season (Danny Califf now with Chivas being the other)

'Words can't describe' Mwanga's happiness, as he returns to Portland – to play for Timbers
