The LA Galaxy roster has been trimmed from 37 to 34, with 31 players currently at camp. Bruce Arena has cut defender Ryan Thomas and midfielder Dustin McCarty who were both 2011 Supplemental Draft picks, as well as Steven Posa from this year's draft. Landon Donovan, Robbie Keane, and Juninho are the players still to report to camp.
Thomas and McCarty made each made eight Reserve League appearances last year, though Thomas was the only one to make a regular season appearance, coming in as a sub against Houston. Steven Posa was the Galaxy's first pick in the fourth round of the 2012 Supplementary Draft, he made an appearance in the second half of the Galaxy's game against the LA Blues.
Loan Updates
Landon Donovan went the full 90 minutes for Everton against Chelsea, getting the assist on Everton's second goal. The Toffee's are on a six game unbeaten streak, with Donovan tallying five assists. Robbie Keane went the full 90 for Aston Villa against Manchester City, but Villa lost that match 1-0. This weekend is an FA Cup weekend, Aston Villa are out but Everton hosts Blackpool and Goodison Park.
