(or how to sneak in a Freddy Adu post if you're a Galaxy blogger)
With Soccer by Ives announcing that Philadelphia has picked up the prodigal son that is Freddy Adu, it's time to update the MLS Allocation order:
Just a friendly reminder of how the MLS process works for players with any time with the USMNT coming back to play in MLS. Word is, Adu wanted a DP contract to go with Chivas, Chivas balked, so Philly stepped up with a non DP contract.
The Galaxy have their USMNT star in Landon Donovan, and they've been able to develop talent for the USMNT, with Edson Buddle getting the callup again and Omar Gonzalez getting called up in the past. And really, that's what a top club should be doing, developing the next generation.
